About Kansas’ Coalition

Established in 2013, Keeping the Kansas Promise (KKP) protects Kansas’ hard-working public employees’ pensions. Made up of teachers, corrections officers, and other public employees, KKP is on the front lines, ensuring public employees’ retirement security is protected.

Pensions provide a modest benefit for our public servants at the end of their careers, they recruit and retain a highly-skilled public workforce who provide vital services such as education, healthcare, and public safety, and they support local economies through retiree spending.

KKP is dedicated to preserving and improving retirement benefits for working class Kansans.
